Our Ski Based Children's Programs are voted the best in Tahoe!

From our dedicated kids "cubhouse" in the Mountain Sports Learning Center to the flying carpet "Flume" ride, families love our kids programs. Check in time for all kids programs begin at 8:00 AM. Our Black Bear and Powder Cubs are our new signature program by reservation only and is an all day program with a guaranteed class size. Bear Tracks program includes 2 hours of on snow time depending on your choice of morning or afternoon session.

Tips for making your child's adventure even better:
1. Make a reservation by calling 530-426-6700.
2. Arrive no later than 8:00AM, which will give you necessary time to get equipment and tickets prior to the start of the lesson.
3. Make sure your child is dressed for the weather with sunglasses/goggles, sunscreen, snow pants, hats, and a change of clothes.
4. Our all day programs, Black Bear & Powder Cubs are a guaranteed class size of 7-1 and 3-1 ratio.

Ages 7-12. Ski or snowboard oriented.

Kids will love this class, which includes an all day lesson, a supervised lunch, mountain tour, and rental. Camp hours are 9:30AM-3:30PM, so your child can show off for you with a run or two before the day ends. This is one of our most popular programs and it will sell out so reservations are required. Please arrive no later than 8:15 AM so we can fit your child up with all of their gear before the class starts.

All group lessons for both children and adults are only offered at our Mountain Sports Learning Center Pavilion at Mt. Judah Mid Week. All services are offered at both portals weekends and holidays.

Please remember to have your kids fully equipped with gloves, goggles/glasses, socks, snow-pants, jackets. We also recommend parents apply sunscreen to their children because our staff is not allowed to.

Sugar Bears Child Care Center is a fun-filled and friendly place helping youngsters learn to ski. Our experienced and caring personnel will ensure that your child will have a memorable experience. For children ages 3 to 5. Children need to be toilet-trained, as well as socially and emotionally ready for day care. License # 310313712.

Sugar Bears Activity Program Includes: Ski lessons, snow play, free play, singing/storytelling, quiet time, snacks and or lunch with the all day program.

Ages 4 - 12 Group lessons are the perfect intro to skiing or snowboard. Our instructors will make learning fun and easy. Please not that we do not guarantee a class size on our children's Bear Track Program. If you would like a guaranteed class size, please check out our Signature Kid's Programs. Bear Tracks Package include a 2-hour group lesson, rental equipment and a lift ticket good on all lifts. On snow time will vary from class to class depending on the children's abilities.
