In order for International Applicants to work in the United States, a Visa (work permit) must be obtained. Two programs are available:
*J-1 Student Visa Program
*H-2B Work Visa Program
The J-1 Visa Program: The J-1 Visa Program is available only to students between 19 and 30 years of age. J-1 visas allow students to work in the USA for 4 months. SUGAR BOWL WILL ONLY HIRE APPLICANTS WHO CAN WORK THE ENTIRE WINTER SEASON, WHICH IS USUALLY FROM MID-DECEMBER TO THE END OF APRIL. Sugar Bowl works exclusively with several international staffing agencies for all J-1 and H2B visa candidates. Sugar Bowl only accepts candidates from the "Security Programs." All of our international hiring is done at the hiring fair in August sponsored by USE (Universal Student Exchange).
